Meet the Founders
We are Alexandra Santana and Adrianus Hulsbos, a wife-and-husband duo with a shared passion for creating real change. Our journey began not in boardrooms or high-tech labs, but in the heart of rural Angola, where we saw firsthand both the beauty of nature and the urgent need for solutions that restore ecosystems while uplifting communities.
With backgrounds in corporate strategy, sustainability, and international business, we could have taken a more conventional path. But during the COVID-19 pandemic, we found ourselves questioning how we could use our skills and resources to make the most significant impact. Alexandra, having deep roots in Angola, knew that the land held immense potential. Not just for carbon sequestration, but for empowering local farmers, improving food security, and creating economic opportunities. And so, Dimarjan was born.
